Dealing with a significant loss is something we all experience. There are many losses in life, death, end of a relationship/marriage, loss of a job, loss of health, miscarriage, fertility and loss faith in life. The GRM programme is an evidence-informed, practice-based program that has been shown to effectively influence components of grief and grief recovery. After completion of the program, the most frequently reported coping behaviours that respondents were less likely to engage in were nicotine use, smoking, misuse of prescriptions drugs, illicit drug use, overeating, alcohol abuse, and gambling. 
Our grieving and heartbreak are multi layered and is prolonged due to unresolved emotions, loss of hopes, dreams and expectations. After losing my mother in 2011 and my father a little under three years later, I went searching for support but found typical counselling sessions helped for a while, only to find myself still feeling heartbroken months later. 
Thankfully, I discovered the Grief Recovery Method and it enabled me to come to terms with my losses and to find meaning and fulfilment in life again. The Grief Recovery Method is a toolkit that supports healing long-term, and I can now help you.
