In the autumn of 2013, my mother was killed in a car crash. This devastating loss was followed by the end of my long-term relationship 2 years later. My reaction lead me to seek some way to cope with the pain. Through working with the practical step by step approach of the Grief Recovery Method, I was able to take the actions necessary to feel better.
I have over 10 years experience of teaching adults, both in groups and one to one, and am delighted to be able to offer this programme for people seeking to recover from loss. I really believe that it can make a difference to the lives of people, who are experiencing the pain and confusion of a broken heart. I can’t tell you how you feel. Only you know your unique pain. I’m not a counsellor or therapist, I’m an educator. And what I can do is teach you the Grief Recovery Method, so that you have the tools to recover from past losses as well as cope with losses you may experience in the future.
